This is the digital garden of Channapatna Health Library project. Here we share our ongoing work of building the Channapatna Health Library, in the form of a Journal of field-notes and reflections; Inspirational Resources; Grants & Proposals we have written, writing, and some, won; materials we have published for the larger public in the form of Public-ations; student works in the form of Learning Outputs; and our ongoing Work-Areas, Packages & Plans.
The Channapatna Health Library started as an initiative driven by a collective that consistsed of a group of 12 women community Health Navigators (HNs) supported by MAYA (a not-for-profit organization), and members of the Design Beku collective in collaboration with Janastu.
<aside> 💚 Since April 2024, Channapatna Health Library is being incubated by the Aruvu Collaboratory in collaboration with Manesiri, a to-be women’s producer organisation led by the 12 women community Health Navigators (HNs).
